We hope that you read these instructions carefully before attending to a dive in Ojamo.
Registration:
Before registrering yourself to a dive, you must have created a user account.
This can be done in:
REKISTERÖITYMINEN (in Finnish) or SIGN UP (in English).
Leave your contact details, so the divemaster (organiser of that specific dive)
may reach you in case of changes in dive plan, schedule etc.
Safety instructions:
Read the safety instructions carefully before your dive. The instructions are currently in
Finnish in:
TURVAOHJE.
If you can not read Finnish, please ask someone to explainyou the procedures.
Registering to a diving event:
The events are announced in the dive schedule (in Finnish):
ILMOITTAUTUMINEN.
Carefully consider your registration, since after you have signed in, you should not cancel
your participation unless a real good reason.
For questions about the current event, please contact the organiser of that dive, which is
mentioned in the details of an event.
Participation fee:
Before arriving to the diving spot, you have to pay for the dive.
The fee is 7,00 euro (seven euro) and the bank account is 800029-17359993,
recipient "Kaivossukeltajat/Ojamo". The international bank account is:
IBAN FI7980002917359993 and
PSPBFIHH.
No cash payments are accepted, and you have to show the recipe of your payment to the organiser.
Cancelling your participation:
As mentioned above, you have to have a real good reason. Remember, that not showing in
means that someone else would probably wanted to take your place.
General instructions:
- Don't be late.
- Follow the instructions of the organiser.
- Diving at Ojamo requires an accompanying Guide on every dive.
- Consider the other divers also. You or your group are not the only ones, most probably.
- Be prepared to stay at Ojamo even after your dive, until all others have surfaced also.
- Be prepared to act as divemaster or safety diver if requested.
- Dive only dives that you have been trained to, and you are capable to dive. Carry your certification card when you arrive, and show it to the organiser if requested.
- Take all equipment that you and your group need (e.g. ice saw, ropes, etc.)
- Before you dive, tell your plan to the divemaster.
- Each diver is responsible to find his/her pair. The organiser does not search a buddy for you.
- Do not exit (go home) before you are given a permission.
- Be ready to help in every kind of little jobs if needed... :)
- No filling service on site, no compressors allowed
- Please plan your visit well in advance so that we have time to arrange guides for you
- Please observe that all work done at Ojamo is done on voluntary basis, so have patience. It is somebody's free time we are talking about
- Divers, who need guides, are subjected to compensate direct expenses of the guides (gas fills, entrance fee, ...)
